FAQ
Some common questions that may answer your initial querries.

What type of ceremonies do you offer?
Amanti Ceremonies is available for civil marriages, renewal of vows, commitment ceremonies and naming ceremonies
How would you describe your style as a celebrant?
My personal style is welcoming, slightly informal, friendly and yet professional. You’ll find my style is reflected in the type of ceremony we prepare together.
What are your qualifications as a civil marriage celebrant?
I am registered with the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants and the International College of Celebrancy Association.
Is it necessary to meet face to face before the ceremony?
It is very helpful doing so, we can form a relationship, discuss the type of ceremony you would like and plan your event.
Do you need to meet both members of the wedding party?
Ideally yes so that I can get to know both of you and understand what you are aiming for your ceremony.
I am currently residing overseas and don’t plan to be back in Australia until just before my wedding. Can you help organize my event?
I am very happy to provide as much assistance as you like. As an experienced event organiser, I can recommend various suppliers, for example, invitation designers, photographers, printers, florists and more.
How do we go about planning our ceremony?
I suggest we meet together several weeks in advance of your event to discuss the style of ceremony you would like to have.
Do we need to have a rehearsal?
I recommend a rehearsal, either at the ceremony venue or my home. This ensures you are entirely comfortable with the planned proceedings and it avoids surprises!
Can we call you for advice on the ceremony?
Of course, you can call or email me as often as you like after our initial meeting to discuss your plans and make any changes that you feel necessary – after all, this is your day and it has to be perfect!
Do we have any choice in the service?
I have a number of prepared services that you can choose from or adapt to meet your needs. Alternatively, I am happy to assist you to write a service or you can write your very own.
Should the service include music and a reading / readings?
From my experience, the best ceremonies include music and or a reading or poem specially selected by the couple. Having said that, it is entirely up to you!
How long should the ceremony last?
Again, this is your decision. I usually recommend that ceremonies last about 20 minutes - anything less than that is a little too short!
What equipment do we need for the ceremony?
You’ll need a Public Address system, a table and a chair. I usually bring along my own PA system which can be used to play an ipod if required.
What is the first step?
Please call me on 0412 300 317 or send me an email with a selection of preferred dates for your ceremony. I will contact you to briefly discuss your plans and arrange our first meeting.
